I want to earn my LCSW. What are my options?

Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker in California requires an MSW from a Council on Social Work Education accredited graduate social work program, registration as an Associate Social Worker (ASW) and 3,200 hours of supervised clinical experience post-MSW. Applicants, current students, and graduates interesting in pursuing their license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California are encouraged to review information provided by the State of California Board of Behavioral Sciences webite.  The National Association of Social Workers California Chapter website also has helpful information.  If you are interested in licensure in another state, you are encouraged to review information provided by the licensing body of that state.
